Hertel Avenue Poutine & Cream
Allen Street Poutine opens a second location but adds specialty ice cream
GOAL:
Within a month of the soft opening, create a website, printed menu, and interior graphics that are unifying the brand for the restaurant.
CHALLENGE:
Jake knew that he wanted the menu to look like chalk board art. Photography of the food needed to be taken. Menus required printing before the opening. Window decals and signage had to be created and installed and there was no room for error.
ROLE:
Having a camera and a passion for photography, I photographed the poutine and ice cream. Jake wrote and supplied the copy for the menus and website pages. I worked with Marc to get the website up and connected to eatpoutine.com
RESULTS:
- Use the photos to visually explain poutine, freak shakes, and creamy buns
- Design the board menus in a chalk art style. Maintain the style for the printed menu and on the website
- Create graphics that are eye-catching and maintain the fun branding style of the restaurant
